2,Q: Can you explain what is overcharge of 12v lithium battery?
A: before we define what is over charged, let us take a look at how 12v lithium battery being charged normally. The 3.2V of lithium iron phosphate battery pack is rated voltage. In the charging process, the full voltage is related to the charging current. When the current is 0.3C, 3.8V can be judged to be full. If it is 0.1C, 3.65V can be considered full. CCCV charging method is recommended for lithium iron phosphate batteries, that is, constant current before constant voltage. As for 12v lithium battery, since it is made by 4 3.2v battery in series, so the charging voltage is 4*3.65v, which is 14.6v. when reach this voltage, BMS will cut off the battery to stop charging. If not, it will be overcharging.

Since over discharge will damage the battery cycle life.
