1. On average, what is the lifespan of RJ 12 Volt lithium battery?
RJ is a professional lifepo4 battery manufacturer for over 17years in China, we produce lifepo4 prismatic cells from scratch, Lifepo4 chemistry is the longest cycles life of all kinds of lithium battery. Our 12v lithum ion battery is made from LiFepo4, thus has the expected lifespan of about 20years. Here is how to calculate: our 12v lithium battery has at least 6000cycles at 1C discharge under normal circumstances and with 100%DOD, generally people use 1 cycle per day, 1 cycles means discharge and charge as a round trip, thus people will use about 365cycles or so per year, then 6000cyles is long enough to use about 20years. Given this outstanding performance, our warranty is at least 5years, for some upgraded home powerwall battery, we offer up to 10years warranty.
2. How many cycles will RJ 12V lithium ion battery can discharge and charge?
Discharge at 1C and charge at 0.5C, with 100%DOD, our 12v lithium battery is expected to have at least 6000cycles, after that, the capacity of the 12v lithium battery is still has a retention of at least 70% of original. RJ 12v lithium ion battery consist of lithium iron phosphate battery which not only stable but also has the deepest cycles in lihtium industry, which distinguish it in many energy storage applications such as solar off grid on grid sytem, RV Campers, Marine Boat, and some low speed cars like golf car, e-forklift etc.
3. May I also know what 12v lithium battery can not do?
RJ 12v lithium battery is particular designed for energy storage and for some low speed vehicles, with this technology and chemistry, its advantage is longest cycles up to 6000cyles and deep cycles that can discharge up to 100%, and it is very stable in perfomance that will never catch fire or explode under any circumstance. But what RJ 12V lithium battery not suitable for? Our battery is not good for high speed race car, not good for car engine jumper, which needs a much more power within a very short time.
But for most of the applications in our daily life, lifepo4 battery, RJ 12v lithium battery is the best solutions. It is very economic in price and safe in use.
4. What happen if 12v lithium battery overcharged?
Lab test shows that even our RJ 12V lithium battery is over charged under some unexpected situations, its temperature will sightly arise a little bit, but does not expand, catch on fire nor exlode. So even under extreme condition, if 12v lithium battery, which is made of lifepo4 battery, overcharged for a long time, it still works fine. However if overchaged for long time, it might not be good for lifespan of the 12v lithium battery. Actually, all of our battery is made with a built-in BMS, Which will protect the battery from overcharging automatically. So if you choose our RJ 12V lithium battery, there is no such a problem or concern about battery being overcharged.
